Community mod pack is a all round modification for Dead Island PC which tweaks various parts of the game. Made by Ubtri, it takes smaller mods made by the Dead Island community and has been packaged into one nice little rar file.

A big shout out to the George Romero Zombies mod. If you don’t know who George Romero is then start googling. This mod tones down and effectively neuters all the Dead Island enemy’s into slow mindless zombies from George Romero’s movies.
Another important change that was made to the Walkers is that now, you won’t be able to kill them just by shooting at their body. To stay true to the Romero style of zombies, you can only kill them by hitting them on the head. You can still chop off both of their arms but it would be hard to kill them this way. Majority of the time, they’ll still stand up and walk towards you even without arms! When this happens, all they can do is bite you! Since in this game, destroying their legs mean instant death for the zombies, the ability to cut off their legs or damage them has been removed. You also won’t be able to kill them by hitting their bodies as they’ll only take 1 damage.
