Pr Manager for Deep Silver Aubrey Norris has stated Dead Island 2 – Riptide will sell for $49.95 USD as a “end of console cycle title”.
Rounding of the end of the ps4 and Xbox 360, Dead Island 2 has been priced at a cheaper $49.95 than Dead Island 1 at $59.95. With these clues we may see the game released in 2012 as the Xbox 720 has been rumoured for our early 3012 release.
The sequel has been confirmed as a totally new game which has squashed some rumours of the sequel being set in the same time frame as the original.
