Dead Island 2 is a go with the latest announcement from Techland spruking “Dead Island Riptide”
We all knew Dead Island was successful enough to get a sequel but the big question was when? Techland have now announced that a sequel is in production being named Dead Island Riptide. Published DeepSilver is onboard to distribute again after the first installment of Dead Island was deemed a commercial success.
Rumors is a Pc and consoles release will drop in 2012 or 2013 with no information as to which consoles will get the Dead Island sequel.
With Techland registering the trademark “Dead World” we all thought the Dead Island sequel would take place on a global scale, but with the announcement of Dead Island Riptide, we believe the plot for the sequel will most likely take place on a smaller scale.

dead island didnt have any flaws! it is the BEST zombie game i have ever played and i played every single zombie game. im super phsyced about dead island riptide because my uncle designs the dead island games and ive already seen some stuff from it. it is AMAZING and is something to get excited about. i know i am!
